The MacRobertson Shield is the premier Association Croquet doubles tournament. It is held every 3 or 4 years and competed for by teams of 6 players representing Great Britain, New Zealand, Australia, and the USA.
The Shield series of matches consists of Six Test matches each involving a different pair of countries.
Great Britain are the Holders of the Shield after victory in Australia in 2006. By rotation, Great Britain hosts the next tournament and the final 2 Test matches of the series have been awarded to Surbiton. Those matches will be played from 18th - 22nd August, 2010.
