Morning wins in the doubles(after a slow start) and by Mary gave Surbiton a lunchtime 2-1 lead.
The afternoon games were set-up by the early results John losing and Brian winning in quicktime, making the match score 3-2.
Mary and Don were both at 1-1. In the race to win Mary and Don both went to the 13th but Mary won first shortly thereafter followed by Don.
Surbiton 5-2 Sussex.
Surbiton maintain their unbeaten 2009 record in this league after previous wins over Dulwich and R T Wells.
