In the doubles game, Colin & Johanna used their bisques to establish an early lead. Mark had made only a few hoops when a late surge by Rob swept Parsons Green to victory.
Chas also was in devastating form, Lyn having no option but to sit out and watch Chas race round on a 2-ball break.
Christian, having only been playing for four weeks, demoralized Colin with some tenacious play until, having at last got a break going, Colin peeled opponent's yellow through rover. In his next turn, Colin ran rover and pegged out opponent’s yellow. The three ball ending all the way from hoop three produced an exciting finish for the sole spectator, culminating in a win for Surbiton by the narrowest of margins.
Result – Surbiton Won 5 games to 2
