In the first round of the block games he overcame Rutger, going on to win his block with only a single loss.
Overcoming Simon Carter, a 0 handicap player who recently won the Colchester Open, in the semi-final, he then came from behind to win the final against Richard Thompson.
Howard's wins trigerred a handicap change to +1. In this form he should enjoy a successful season.
