The two morning singles were completed quite quickly for a score of 1-1 but the doubles, which looked to be going in Medway's favour, prolonged proceedings with an excellent come from behind innings by Graham, a missed peg out & finally a long hit- in which secured the final point for Surbiton.
After lunch ( rounded off by George's famous sticky toffee pudding ) the home team won 3 of the remaining singles.
