Doubles Don and George lost 3-7 5-7 to Simon and Pierre
(The first game was very much one-way traffic with a predictable outcome. In the second Don and George staged a comeback winning 10 then with a ball in front of 11 and scores tied, Dulwich needed Pierre to clear from the west boundary, which he did hitting full ball. Dulwich ran the hoop to 12 and claimed hoop and game.

With the match scores tied it was down to the two captains. Don had taken the first and Pierre responded with good hoops to win the second
Don playing first held a narrow lead throughout by winning the odd hoops and running from 11 to very near 12 which he eventually won to take the deciding game.
