26 June GC Singles Don’s Day Results
Two thrilling finals saw Sue Nicholas and Ian Rees romp home as winners beating Jill Richardson 7/6 and our own Jennian Geddes 7/1.
28 players from 13 different clubs battled it out in warm and windy conditions with super fast lawns resulting in many games going to 7/6 or 7/5.
Excellent grub in the form of Chinese Chicken and 3 kinds of pudding (the sherry trifle proving quite a star) was provided by Chris Osmond while a lovely selection of cakes was organised by Rose and Jennian. Big thank you to all Surbiton players for setting up and closing down!
